Great case, enough room for a weekend trip away and if packed right a week using the expandable zippers. Its lightweight, sturdy and a lovely colour. All in all a Great buy!

NEVER had a suitcase that scuffs and marks sooooo much! Had my other suitcase 10 years and didn't mark at all, went on one trip with the case and it's destroyed

Terrible
The case broke on first use, the handle came away from the frame. I've contacted customer services for a replacement or refund and it's been a week without a response.

Handle fell off
We've had 55cm Soundbox 6 years and used on about 15 trips. Good overall design however the lifting handle has completely broken/fallen off after being picked-up off airport carousel. Why?

This is my second case
Love this case but my last one the rubber handle split with the heat and just came apart I would suggest you put a second handle on the vertices side this would help

Poor materials
I bought this suitcase 2 years ago and have used it approx 4 times since then. The plastic has now cracked/split on it. The luggage weighed approx 5 kilos and had some clothes in so no idea how this has happened. Very poor and cheap materials used. For this price point, I would expect better. From similar reviews, I would suggest there is an issue with the manufacture or materials.

I thought this was "the one" - but it cracked!
I bought this case for a specific transatlantic trip in May. It has received very little use: one flight from Dublin to Switzerland (no damage - I normally check corners and wheels), one return flight within mainland Europe (as before), train journey last week from Switzerland to France. When I unpacked in France I noted a large crack (see image). The case was with me throughout the train journeys and did not fall or suffer any impact. I'm very disappointed in this purchase - especially as the Guarantee doesn't seem to cover this kind of damage. I will have to purchase another case for the trip in May. A case of this specification and value should last more than four journeys! I have other American Tourister cases, including a Soundbox carry-on which is great, but this has really put me off the brand.

Love it!
I've had the smaller size in yellow for weekends away for a few years now and it still looks like new, so when I needed a new larger case, I was happy to see this on sale in the colour I wanted. The smaller case fits inside for easy storage and the expanding option is great for bringing home a few souvenirs...

Great Suitcase!
I already have the lovely bright pink Soundbox suitcase and purchased the bright yellow one for my fiance for when we go to Florida in May. We want to be able to spot our luggage on the carousel easily enough. Very good quality suitcase and stands up to a lot. Would definitely recommend this suitcase.

Great case but lock is on upside down. Doesn't affect use just have to remember which way up to put it when opening. Did feedback to company but no response.

This product is not fit for purpose
We were so excited to use our new soundbox set however after our first journey we found a crack and hole in the plastic on the corner of the case. This is not fit for purpose. You expect to be able to take a case on a long haul flight and for it to remain in one piece, especially after its first use. We have had previous suitcases for many years which have been used a lot and they have never broken. We feel really disappointed.

Great, hard wearing suitcase
Have owned large and small soundbox suitcases in yellow for a number of years now, maybe since they came out? and we are now adding another large one to help with family holidays! They are relatively basic, but have everything you need and are light and easy to maneuver. My only complaint is how much the handle cuts in to the inside of the case, you have to pack your underwear around it, but on the plus side if they had covered it over then you would lose packing volume, so... Overall, a good purchase, happy to recommend.

Cute and practical, but thinner than expected
Great little suitcase - nice and light for solo travel, with a fairly unique design that makes it easy to spot in large groups or on a luggage carousel. Was slightly thinner than expected, but the case is taller and wider to accommodate the smaller depth of the case, and one side can expand as well. The interior components (i.e. the straps, divider etc) are all decent quality, but the exterior shell is prone to scratching as the plastic is a little soft/flexible. The upside of this is that the case is unlikely to crack or dent if dropped (as the material has some "give" to absorb any impacts), however this does mean the case starts to scuff right away, even on fairly short trips. If this bothers you, I'd recommend avoiding the pastel colours.

Love turned to regret.
I brought the large and small suitcase as my friend has this in yellow. I brought these in 2021. i used them both for the first time when I visited Barbados late October this year (2022). When I picked up the large suitcase in Barbados it had a crack down the front middle. I paid nearly £200 for the one suitcase and on the first journey it ever makes it cracks. I had to cover it with cling film on the journey back to the UK in case it split even more. Very disappointed and reading the guarantee/warranty - damage by airline is not covered. The customer care telephone number just directs any damaged suitcases to a separate company, you do not deal with AT directly. I so regret buying this suitcase but I really just wanted to treat myself to some quality luggage which I unfortunately this did not turn out to be.

Scratches very easily
Had one outing on a train and seriously scratched, despite only sitting on the overhead rack. Customer Services have said this is normal wear and tear! Not acceptable IMO. Buyers beware.

Damaged on first journey!
Unfortunately, the first time I used my case, when I collected it off conveyor belt in Turkey the case was damaged.. a split of about 4 inches .. it is now unusable. I had thought these cases would be incredibly robust .. my last one was about 50% cheaper and literally went all over the world with me and whilst eventually a bit bashed the integrity of the case was still great. The case looks fabulous to be fair ( when it first arrived), the colour is perfect but I am incredibly disappointed that it hasn't survived a single trip!

The stitching ripped after 3rd use
The luggage is much smaller than I expected but in any case the stitching on the side ripped off after using it just on the third time. Considering the cost I was expecting much higher durability.
